Pinto
Hi, I’m Pinto, a one‑year‑old pug with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I’m both house trained and crate trained, and I sleep in my crate at night like a champ. I also do great in my crate when my people leave the house. It’s my cozy little pug headquarters, and I feel safe and settled there.
I get along well with the two dogs in my foster home, a big 70‑pound buddy and a fellow pug. I love playing with them and hanging out, but when it comes to food or toys, I prefer a little space. I’m a sweet boy, I just want a little respect. I adore people and especially love cuddling and playing with my foster’s 12‑year‑old. I haven’t met any cats yet, but with proper introductions, I’d probably do just fine.
Now for my signature move. When I want attention, I lift my chin dramatically and let out my famous “woo‑woo‑woo” sound until someone comes over and gives me scritches. It works every single time. I’m basically a tiny pug troubadour singing the song of my people.
I love it all, walks, playtime, naps, cuddles, and especially my afternoon dental treat. I’ve been getting regular baths for my skin, and I’m a very good boy for them because I know they’re helping me feel good. I’ve got a great balance of playful energy and calm, snuggly moments.
My foster says: “Pinto has a nice mix of active and calm energy; I think he’d do well in a home with someone who’s looking for a playful dog who is also able to settle and rest throughout the day.”
If you’re looking for a goofy, loving, woo‑woo‑woo‑ing pug who will keep you smiling, I might just be your perfect match.
