Phyllis
Hello there, I’m Phyllis, an easygoing 11-year-old pug with a soft spot for cozy beds and quiet company. I spend my days lounging happily and enjoying the calm rhythm of home life. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy having them around, although I am just as content relaxing on my own. I am a sweet little old lady with no special medical needs, and I am fully housebroken. I tolerate a crate if needed, but I would much rather be out where the soft blankets and warm laps are.
Even though I’m a senior, I still occasionally get a playful burst of energy and like to toss around a stuffed toy, which my foster family says is very cute to watch when I get a little frisky. My foster parent also says I have a funny little habit of barking at animals on the television, something some may find endearing. I have not been tested with cats, but I am gentle enough that I would likely do fine. Because I am a calm senior girl, a home with children over 12 would be the best fit for me.
I am ready for a peaceful, loving home where I can enjoy my golden years with someone who appreciates a mellow and affectionate companion.
