Next Steps
Please add courtney.meyer@pugrescueaustin.com, kimberly.buckhout@pugrescueaustin.com, and amanda.kopp@pugrescueaustin.com as safe senders in your email contacts.
If you are approved to adopt a pug, your application is forwarded to our Adoption Director. She will then work with you to match you with a pug.
You can meet several dogs at our public meet & greets. Once you know the pug you want, we can arrange a trial visit. The pug comes to stay with you for a week to ten days and should you choose to adopt, we will email you the contract and payment instructions. (See adoption fees)
When you’re approved to adopt, you’re also approved to foster!
Your help will not only give these dogs a chance at a better life, but it will also help us continue our mission of rescuing and finding homes for abused, neglected, and unwanted pugs. Pug Rescue of Austin will cover all medical expenses and provide food, so all you need to do is provide a temporary home and lots of love.
Please consider opening your heart and home to a pug in need, or spread the word if you know someone who might be interested in applying to become a foster. Together, we can make a difference and give these deserving dogs the love and care they so desperately need.
