Carlin
If you’re looking for a curious cat… I mean pug… then I’m your guy. My name is Carlin, and I’m a six‑year‑old one‑eyed explorer with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. My foster mom calls me all kinds of nicknames, and honestly, I think I’ve earned every single one. I’m always on the move, sniffing, investigating and preparing for my next great adventure.
Since entering rescue, I’ve gained much‑needed healthy weight and my coat is shiny and handsome again. I’ve really taken to the good life in foster care. It only took me a few days to get the hang of things and learn the household routine, and now I’m feeling so much more confident. My foster mom even brings me along to parks, patios and coffee shops, and I’m becoming quite the social guy. I’m respectful of other animals both inside and outside the home. I live with three cats and do well with them, and I get along with dogs too, but people are definitely my favorite. They’re fun, they’re interesting and they usually have snacks, which is a big win in my book.
I’m very food‑motivated, I eat in my crate like a gentleman and I’m both crate trained and potty trained. I may look like a tough guy with my one eye, but I’m really just a softie who loves head massages and sleeping tucked into my human’s arms or legs. I’m a quick learner, I enjoy exploring more than toys and I’m always ready for a new adventure with the people I love.
The sooner you apply to adopt me, the sooner we can get to adventuring… and cuddling… together.
