Carlin
Hi, I’m Carlin! I’m a one‑eyed pug, about six years old (give or take—I don’t really keep track, I’m too busy sniffing things). I may be a little on the skinny side right now, but don’t worry—I’m working on filling out my puggy curves with the help of snacks.
When I first landed in rescue, I was a bit anxious and did a lot of pacing. But now? I’ve discovered the joy of naps. Couch naps, patio naps… basically anywhere my people are, I’m snoozing happily by their side.
I get along fine with other dogs, but honestly, I’m more of a “people pug.” I like to know what you’re doing, where you’re going, and if there’s food involved. Speaking of food—I’m very motivated by it. I eat in my crate like a gentleman, and I’m crate trained too. Bonus points: I haven’t pooped in the house once and my belly band has been completely dry since day three in foster care. Gold star for me!
I’ve got more energy than you’d expect from a six‑year‑old pug. I love walks and exploring—explore, explore, explore! Toys don’t really do it for me, but adventures? Count me in.
I haven’t had a chance to interact with kids or cats yet. For now, I’m keeping my distance from the resident cat—she’s older and prefers peace and quiet, and I might be a little too bouncy for her taste. But I promise—I’m a good boy.
So that’s me: Carlin. One eye, big heart, curious nose, and ready to be your loyal sidekick.
