Amélie

Hi, I am a 6-month-old female Frenchie mix.

Have you fallen in love with me yet?

Bonjour, I’m Amélie, a spirited six‑month‑old pug Frenchie mix with a heart full of curiosity and a whole lot of bounce. Like my namesake from the film, I approach life with wonder, enthusiasm, and a flair for turning everyday moments into little adventures. I’m an energetic girl who loves to play, explore, and leap and bound. I am an excellent jumper, so a sturdy fence would be best. I’m a little bigger than the average pug, confident, and I like to take the lead, but with guidance and consistency I settle in beautifully.

I thrive when I have another dog to play with, and I truly need a canine companion who enjoys romping, wrestling, and sharing in my joyful energy. Because I am still a puppy, I am working on learning my manners. I am doing a good job picking up my house and crate training. I’m smart, eager, and motivated, especially when chew bones are involved. They are my absolute favorite. Because of my boisterous nature, I would probably have more fun playing with kids eight and up. I would likely do best with an experienced dog owner who enjoys continuing training and helping me channel my ambition and energy. I have not spent much time around cats, so I am still a bit unsure about them.

I do have a small cleft palate, but Pug Rescue of Austin will repair it when I’m spayed, and after that I will be ready to take on the world with even more gusto. If you’re looking for a dog who brings laughter, energy, and a touch of cinematic charm into your home, I might be the perfect leading lady for your next chapter. I’m ready to find my forever family and begin the sweetest story of all.
