Foster Application
We are urgently in need of foster homes!
We know that fostering can be a big commitment, but the difference you can make in the life of a pug is immeasurable. Your help will not only give these dogs a chance at a better life, but it will also help us continue our mission of rescuing and finding homes for abused, neglected, and unwanted pugs. Pug Rescue of Austin will cover all medical expenses and provide food, so all you need to do is provide a temporary home and lots of love.
Please consider opening your heart and home to a pug in need, or spread the word if you know someone who might be interested in applying to become a foster. Together, we can make a difference and give these deserving dogs the love and care they so desperately need.
Before you start your application, here’s some of the information you will need:
Spouse/Roommate Contact Information
Landlord Contact Information (if you rent)
Employer Contact Information
Contact information for any veterinarians who have seen your pets in the last 3 years
Contact information for 3 references (Only 1 can be a family member)
Don’t forget to let your references know to expect to hear from us. Please ask them to return our calls in a timely manner. This is will help prevent any delays getting you approved.
For the best experience, this form should be completed on a laptop or desktop computer.
Thank you for your interest in fostering with Pug Rescue of Austin.
Please make sure you read through the application completely and fill out all of the required fields. You will be prompted for your non-refundable $15 processing fee when you submit the application.
Once your completed application has been received you will be contacted via email within 72 hours and assigned an application screener soon after. Please add amanda.kopp@pugrescueaustin.com and amy.johnson@pugrescueaustin.com as safe senders in your email contacts.
