Hi, I’m Margarita, an eleven year old female pug with a big personality and an even bigger love for my people. I may be a senior girl, but I still have plenty of pep in my step. I adore playing fetch with my squeaky toys, especially my beloved squeaky sloth, and I take my toy time very seriously. Sharing toys with other dogs is not really my style, but I am happy to coexist with them. I get along well with the three dogs in my foster home, though my foster thinks I would truly thrive as someone’s only pet or possibly with an older, easygoing male pug. Cats are not my thing, and I have not been around children yet, so I am still learning what I might think of them.
I am potty trained, I love treats, walks, naps, and cuddles, and I am known for being a very quiet sleeper, which makes me a bit of a unicorn in the pug world. I am not crate trained, and my foster has not needed to crate me, so we are not sure how I would do in one. What I do know is that I bond deeply and quickly. I follow my foster around the house all day because being close to my person makes me feel safe and happy.
I am sweet, loyal, affectionate, and ready to find someone who wants a devoted companion by their side. If you are looking for a loving little shadow who will adore you endlessly, I might be your girl.
