Wheat and Rye
Meet Wheat and Rye, a pair of soft, sweet little loaves ready to rise in a new home and fill it with love.
Wheat (five‑year‑old fawn female pug)
Hi! I’m Wheat, a little pug with a whole lot of personality packed into a tiny, adorable body. I’m sweet, sassy, and not afraid to be a little bossy when I think I know best, which is often.
My favorite hobby is supervising the kitchen. If you’re cooking, I’m right there making sure nothing tasty hits the floor without my approval. I’m extremely food motivated, love cuddles, and enjoy going on walks. I’m potty trained, crate trained, and great with all humans. Cats are still a mystery since I haven’t met any yet.
If you want a loyal little shadow who keeps life fun and full of love, I might be your perfect match.
Rye (three‑year‑old black female pug)
Hi, I’m Rye, a three‑year‑old introverted sweetheart who is slowly discovering how good it feels to let my personality shine. I may be timid at first, but once I warm up, I’m incredibly loving and gentle.
I’m also a total ball fanatic. If it bounces, rolls, or can be chased, I’m obsessed. I enjoy walks, I’m very food motivated, and I’m happy doing my own thing when I need a little quiet time. I’m potty trained, crate trained, good with all humans, and friendly with other dogs. Cats are still an unknown for me.
If you’re looking for a soft‑hearted companion with a playful streak, I’d love to meet you.
We are currently assessing whether Wheat and Rye are bonded and may need to be adopted together.
