Hi, I'm Oakley! I'm a happy, wiggly, 2 ½ year-old pug mix.
My tail is always wagging, and my face is always smiling. The doc just checked me out and said I’m VERY healthy with pearly white teeth, so I’m ready for adoption!
I like to play, wrestle, roughhouse, chase, and play tug-o-war with humans or other pups in my house. But I also love napping and chewing on my toys to entertain myself. Since I’m still a puppy with lots of playful, feisty energy, I’d be happiest to live with at least one other pup that loves to wrestle and chase. And a bigger dog is just fine, since my roommate is a 55-pound boxer! :-)
I’m pretty well-behaved in the crate and the car, house-trained, spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. I get along great with kids and other dogs. I was in a foster home with 6 other dogs of all sizes and ages, plus a toddler. I'm not sure how I would do with a cat, as I haven’t met one yet, but I think I’d do fine.
I love snuggling up with humans and giving kisses just as much as I love playing. Just watch me flop onto my back for tummy rubs!
