Mabel's my name, and I'm cute as can be!

I have some exciting news to share with you. My appetite is back and I've started to love food and treats! It has made things easier for my foster parents to train me, and I respond well to positive reinforcement.

I still love to snuggle, and I'm a smart girl who can adapt quickly to new environments. However, I must admit, I have a bit of a jealous streak towards other dogs when my preferred human is paying attention to them. Sometimes, this can manifest in aggression. But don't worry, aside from that, I still tolerate the presence of other dogs fairly well.

I'm good with kids and dogs, but I haven't met any cats yet, so I'm not sure how I'd react. I'm housebroken, crate trained, and I have a couple of favorite toys, Cookie and Dinosaur.

I'm also heartworm positive, but my friends at Pug Rescue of Austin are taking care of me, and I'm on my way to getting all better. They are so nice to give me all the care I need, what a lucky gal am I!
