Hi there, I’m Jax, a 7-year-old male pug. I have the most adorable, extra-wrinkly face! I warm up to people right away, and I’m great with dogs of any size, kids, women, and men.

I love sunbathing and taking long naps on my dog bed. I’m also a champion snorer. I maybe a little guy, but I have a big snore. I have a few favorite plush toys that I adore. Sometimes I love to thrash them around, but then other times I like to hold them in my mouth and prance around the house proudly.

My favorite way to get energy out is playing with my people. I especially love to play tug-o-war. I also enjoy going for walks and car rides, and rough wrestling with my doggy roommates. I’m usually pretty good at keeping myself entertained with toys, but I do need some human attention, too!

I’m house-trained and crate-trained. I readily trot into my kennel with no fuss and I sleep through the night. But once that sunlight starts peeking through the windows, I’m excited to start the day. Don’t worry if you’re not an early bird though because a blanket over my kennel that blocks out the sun might help me sleep in a bit longer.

I’m also microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm-negative. My only health issues are a little dry eye that is managed with daily eye drops and possible skin allergies that might be treated with medicated baths.
