Hi, I’m Isa the pug.

I’m 2 years old and some people think that I’m a cross between a pug and a Hoover because I look like a pug but clean-up like a Hoover. If you’re looking for a pug and a housekeeper, then look no further! I’ll clean up your crumbs, rocks, and dust bunnies- no extra charge.

I’m a curious, cute girl who will bring lots of love and laughs to my forever family. I can be rambunctious and playful but I’m also perfectly happy lounging around and getting pets. Speaking of pets, I’m really of the opinion that everyone should get pets, so if I see you loving on another animal or person, you shouldn’t be too surprised if I let you know that I want in on the love.

Like most pugs, I believe that dinner should be served promptly and hastily. I LOVE dinner just as much, if not more, than attention and sometimes I just cannot contain my excitement when it’s time to eat.

I get along well with other dogs but slow introductions with reactive dogs would be best because I am so very curious and like to get a real close look for a few minutes at new dogs. Apparently, that can make some dogs uncomfortable. I also like cats! I think it’s super fun to chase them around and see how fast they can run. To be honest, I think it’d be more fun if my cat friends wanted to play with me but for some reason they won’t. I’m still determined to make some cat friends though.

I’m also crate trained and mostly house trained and do well with baths and nail trims. I’m happiest when I’m with my people but if I’m not able to be with them I do great in a covered crate. I can be sensitive to visual stimulation, so I find it relaxing to have my crate covered. I also sleep in my crate at night.

When I’m not getting pets or trying to play with my animal friends, I love playing with toys. I’m perfectly capable of entertaining myself with my toys but I also love playing fetch, tug of war, and keep away. Belly rubs mixed in with playing and a good snuggle with my humans is the perfect day for me.

One of my mottos in life is, “If you see an open door run through it!” Right now, I’m waiting for the door to my forever family to open up. I’m ready to run through it!
