Potato
Hi, I'm Potato I'm six months old and full of spunk, sweetness, and snuggles. I may be blind in one eye and only see shadows and movement in the other, but that doesn’t slow me down — I’m a curious, playful pup with a big heart and an even bigger personality.
I love toys, snacks, walks, and doing happy circles when it’s mealtime. I’m crate trained, potty trained, sleep like a champ, and take my medicine like a pro (I’m on medication for seizures, but haven’t had any seizures in months).
I’m great with kids — my human siblings are 3 and 7, and we have a blast together. I get along with cats and dogs, though my play style is definitely puppy-level energy. I’d do best with a young, playful dog who can match my vibe, or a human who’s ready for lots of fun and affection. Older dogs tend to steer clear of my zoomies, and I get it — I’m a lot of puppy love in a small package.
I’m a chewer (bones and good toys are a must), a shoe-dragger, and a total wiggle worm when treats are coming. I love giving kisses and being close to my people. Because of my vision, I’ll need a safe space — no thorny plants or open staircases — but I’m smart and learning fast.
I’ve got so much love to give and I’m ready to find my forever family. Contact the Pug Rescue of Austin to meet me. I can’t wait to wiggle into your heart.
