Hello, darlings! I’m Meringue, a 7-year-old female pug and quite possibly the sweetest, most delightful creature you’ll ever meet. I’m a professional lap warmer, especially after breakfast when you have your coffee and catch up on the news—I simply must be part of the morning routine. I also consider myself a TV critic. I watch everything and have very strong opinions. Animals on screen? Bark. Fighting? Absolutely not. A cozy show with my human? Perfection.
Now, about my house manners—we’re making progress! I politely pee on pads and mostly take my business outside. I sleep in my crate like a good girl, though I will file a formal complaint (barking) before settling in. Walks and car rides? Love them! But let’s be clear—I must ride on a lap. No seats, no carriers, just prime human real estate.
I get along with the two cats, though the fluffy one doesn’t appreciate my playful invitations. And I adore my pug buddy, Chunk—we’re quite the snuggle duo. Oh, and here’s the kicker… I don’t shed. That’s right, a pug with zero shedding. A miracle wrapped in fur, if you ask me.
I’m currently heartworm positive, but don't worry—I'll be starting treatment soon and will need a little extra TLC while I recover. A few months of rest and care, and I’ll be ready to live my best snuggly life!
