Che

Che

Hi, I am a 5-year-old male pug.

Have you fallen in love with me yet?

Howdy! I’m Che and I’m a very handsome and well-behaved boy. I’m about 5 years old and at just 14-15 pounds I’m a little on the small side, but I have a big heart and a lot of love to give.

I love being around people and I especially adore being curled in a lap. Looking for a nap buddy? I’m your guy. I’m also pretty quiet and seldom ever bark. Sometimes when I have to go in my kennel and miss out on the fun of being with my people I get a little whiny, but I’m happy to be cozy in there when it’s time for bed and sleep soundly through the night.

My awesome foster family has kids and another dog and I get along great with all of them. I can get a little possessive about my food and toys, so I’m working on improving my manners with these things as I grow in my trust and confidence. I’ll need a family that understands my resource-guarding tendencies, and I would be best with older, dog-savvy kids and a safe place of my own to enjoy my food. I’m a happy, good-natured boy, and I think I might even do okay with cats, too, given a proper introduction.

What else can I tell you about moi? Well, I get excited sometimes when I want to give out kisses or when I’m about to get a TREAT!! Also, I freaking love walks and meeting other dogs when I’m out and about. I’m pretty speedy, but I don’t pull or anything. And I do still need to go outside regularly while I’m really getting the hang of this house training thing. It’s a little new to me, but I’ve been such a good boy, learning that grass is where you go when you need to GO. I’ll ask you to come with me to the yard because I love the praise when I get it right. Plus it’s more time with you!

One more thing I wanted to mention, I was having issues with crystals in my urine, so I was started on a special prescription diet that has helped clear that all up, and the food helps make sure that it stays that way. Now, I am a healthy and happy boy!

Now that you know a bit about me and have seen my sweet pug face, what do you say? Want to meet IRL?
