Brunswick
Hey there, pals! I’m Brunswick, the coolest ten-year-old pug you’ll ever meet! Life threw me a curveball with a big, nasty mass and a diagnosis of mast cell cancer. That sounds scary, but I was such a brave boy. I had to have surgery and a round of chemotherapy but now I have a new lease on life and I'm ready to rock!
Let me tell you a bit more about myself. I’m not just any pug – I’ve got personality for days! When I’m not busy being adorable, you’ll find me snuggled up next to my favorite human, following them around like a loyal shadow. Oh, and food? Don’t even get me started. I’m all about those tasty treats, and I’ve got a nose for sniffing them out!
Now, about those cats. Sure, they’re okay, but I’ve gotta admit, I’m more of a dog person myself. So if you’re looking for a furry friend who’s all about canine companionship, I’m your guy!
And hey, here’s the best part – I’m already a pro at the whole potty and crate training thing. Yup, you heard that right. I’m practically a little gentleman!
So, if you’re on the lookout for a furry buddy who’s all about love, fun, and maybe a little mischief (hey, I’m only human... well, sort of), hit up the Pug Rescue of Austin.
Anticipated Medical Care: Currently the only medication Brunswick is taking is a Vitamin D supplement. Mast cell cancer has a good prognosis with the treatment Brunswick received, but he will need to continue to be monitored for new growths on an ongoing basis.
