Hi there! My name is "Pop", and I'm definitely a lot of "Snap" and "Crackle", too! I'm a happy and handsome one-year-old boy who loves to play with my human and furry families.
I came to the Pug Rescue of Austin when I was only five weeks old with a leg that was broken in two places. But after lots of love, care, and attention by not only my foster family but also the amazing medical staff at Westlake Animal Hospital, I was able to heal without any surgery! My foster family says I was a very determined pup who wouldn't let a leg and shoulder brace slow me down. Today you wouldn't even know I'd had any disability, and everyone is amazed at how big and strong I've become.
I should let you know that I'm a pretty athletic boy who loves a big yard so I can do zoomies and play chase with the gang. But don't let my athleticism deceive you because I'm a lover, too. My days are also spent spooning in a big bed with my grumble for naps, and snuggling in the evening with my dad or mom.
But, I really can't get enough of the great outdoors, going on walks, and playing. I have to admit that since I'm just over a year old, my energy level is pretty high. So I'm always ready for a good tug of war or wrestling match. Sometimes I can be a little too rambunctious, but my foster parents think that with time and training I will settle down.
As you can see, I'm a really good looking apricot colored pug. So I'm not only quite the heartthrob, but also one who has never met a stranger. The word "shy" is not in my vocabulary, so I think of the world as my oyster! Contact the Pug Rescue of Austin to learn more about me!
