Hi there, I’m Slim.

I’ve been living the good life with my foster family and now I’m ready to make the move to my permanent family.

Believe it or not, I came to Pug Rescue of Austin as a stray in bad shape. I had lost fur, was super skinny, and had damage to my eye. The good folks at PRA treated me and my fur has grown back, I’ve put on weight, and my eye doesn't bother me at all. I only needs eye drops twice a day.I am about 2 and a half years old. I am cute as can be from the pink freckle on my black nose to my super curly tail.

I do well in my crate -I haven’t had any accidents while crated and I sit quietly when I am crated. I’ve only wet my belly band once but it was when I first arrived at my foster home. I’ve never had a poop accident inside. I love to explore and to go on walks. I have energy to play tug of war and run around doing zoomies.

I get along with other dogs, but I can also entertain myself. I might be too energetic for a cat. I haven’t been around children yet, so I’m not sure what I think of them. I do know that I love plush toys and sticks. I also love attention and all people. When calm, I am a great snuggler.
