Rescue Rowe

Meet Rowe, the resilient pug who recently came into our care. Rowe's journey began when he was involved in a car accident, leading to his rescue at Austin Animal Center. This sweet pug endured head trauma, a broken right radius and ulna, multiple wounds, and a severe corneal injury. There's even a possibility of a broken jaw.

With your support, we've been providing Rowe with around-the-clock care. He received essential medical attention at the Emergency Animal Hospital of Crystal Falls. Today, we're taking the next step in his recovery as he undergoes surgery at Violet Crown Veterinary Specialists to repair his broken arm, a procedure that costs $4,000.

Your donation can make a real difference in Rowe's life. Join us in helping this brave pug on his road to recovery. Together, we can ensure Rowe gets the care and love he truly deserves."

Rowe is stable and doing well after his surgery today. He had a plate and screws placed to repair his fractured ulna and radius. He will be in a splint as well for 2 to 4 wks while he heals. The even better news is that he does not appear to have any major jaw fracture. Thank you to Dr. Katie Kennedy, his surgeon, Dr Kelly Might and the staff at Violet Crown Veterinary Specialists for taking such good care of him and working him into their schedule today. We will keep you updated on his progress.
