Meet Friday, a brave pug who was surrendered to us with a severe, urgent eye injury. Despite her pain, she's alert, affectionate, giving us kisses and fighting to stay strong. We're committed to giving her the care she deserves, but we need your help. The estimated cost for her treatment could be around $2,500, and every donation brings us closer to saving her. Update May 10, 2025: Our little San Antonio lady, Friday, had a successful surgery in the late hours of yesterday. She arrived at our rescue with serious head trauma. Because of your generous support, we were able to save her life. Friday says, "THANK YOU!"

Update May 20, 2025: Happy girl is loving life and recovering well. Thank you to our supporters for their donations!! She is still recovering and not available for adoption yet.

Update June 6, 2025: This sweet girl is doing well and making a full recovery from her past trauma thanks to your support. She is happy and playful and enjoying being a puppy!

Update November 7, 2025: Happy Tail, Friday (now Tigger)! This sweet and wild girl has grown so much since her adoption and is living life to the fullest. Her adopter says, "She's much bigger than she was when she was adopted... she doesn't slow down for a photo op!" When Friday first came to rescue, she needed to have one eye removed — but that didn’t slow her down one bit. Tigger is now part of a proud Pug Rescue of Austin family, alongside her siblings Bennie (formerly Hobbit) and Bert (formerly Wilbert), who are also PRA alums. Heartfelt thanks to Debbie for fostering her and helping her heal when she first came to rescue.
