Hey there! I'm Mayhew, an eight-year-old male pug mix. I'm the definition of loyal, sweet, and trainable—kind of like a certain Wookiee co-pilot you might know. I get along great with my foster mom's two female dogs and her cat. I absolutely LOVE affection and will happily accompany you anywhere, indoors or outdoors. Walks are my favorite, and despite my age, I'm energetic (but not hyperactive) and super healthy.
I don’t care much for toys or playing with other animals; my main interest is interacting and playing with you. Think of me as your Chewbacca—always by your side. I'm housebroken and very respectful of my foster’s space. I've learned a few commands too: sit, stay, and lay down. I'm also pretty good about going into my kennel when asked, and sometimes I even choose to nap there on my own. It’s my Millennium Falcon of nap spots.
The only thing to keep in mind is that I can be a bit hesitant around other animals during meal times, so my foster mom puts me in my kennel for meals to help me relax. Other than that, I'm a fantastic little dog who would fit easily into most households. So, what do you say? Ready to make the jump to light speed with me? May the fur be with you!
