Sugar came to our home to be fostered. After a few days with us and several veterinarian visits, it was determined that she needed to have surgery. First, she had surgery to remove seven bladder stones. Needless to say, the procedure was major and it took a couple of weeks for her to fully recover. Later, dental surgery was conducted to remove several teeth and a growth from under her tongue. The surgery was successful and the recovery period minimal. It was hard to give Sugar up after nursing her through the difficult times.
We are so very fortunate in having been picked to foster Sugar. After having lost two pugs in the last year, she has brought a lot of joy into our lives.
