This is Pretty, formerly known as Angie. She is no angel but, man, is she pretty. Growing up with pugs and losing some not long ago to old age, I knew I could never have anything but a pug and wanted to give a loving home to one in need. Pretty came to me deaf and mostly blind needing surgery on her airway and to have a few teeth removed. Despite all her ailments, Pretty is fearless, bumping into things to find her way around; and she is officially queen of this castle. She takes the meaning of “lap dog” to a whole new extreme, unhappy until she’s snuggled up and the center of attention. And I make sure she’s never unhappy. Her adorable tongue and face and her sweet and loving demeanor make it impossible to resist her charm.
I am so thankful to the Pug Rescue for bringing Miss Pretty into my life. She’s the perfect companion and I strive to shower her with all the love and affection she deserves.
