I spent a good deal of time researching which Pugger to bring home for a trial visit. I kept seeing Merlin dressed in his wizard outfit and it made me smile. Then I saw him dressed as Uncle Sam for the 4th of July and I knew I needed to meet this easy going guy. I talked to his Foster Mom and she was going on vacation the next day. She asked if I wouldn’t mind waiting until she got back so Merlin could stay with his Foster Grandma who was also loved Merlin so much she got approved just so she could foster him while Mom was on vacation! That’s how Magical this boy is!
I had to wait a week and was so excited and anxious to meet him that week seemed like forever. When I finally met Merlin at Petco that Wednesday morning it was love at first sight. It was as if he was meant to go home with me. During his trial visit his Foster Mom, Alisha and I stayed in contact with each other every day.
By day 2 I knew this boy was supposed to spend his golden years with me. Merlin is indeed Magical. Alisha loves him and all she wished was for Merlin to find a happy furever home and her wish came true. Magical Merlin and I have spent the last two weeks getting to know each other, having adventures together and generally loving each other. I couldn’t have found a more perfect Pugger. Merlin or Mer-Man, as Alisha lovingly calls him, goes everywhere with me now. I ordered a car seat for him to keep him safe on our adventures and he is now my co-pilot in life.
I could tell how much Alisha loves him so we became Facebook friends so she can follow him on our adventures. She let me know how much Merlin loves strawberries! I’ve included a picture of him getting a strawberry treat! I love you Mer-Man! Here’s to the rest of your golden years, living and loving. Love and Mer-Man kisses,
Kimberly from Wimberley
